I just hope crap like that doesn't lower Victor's spirits.

Also, interesting tidbit: I showed off a pic of the SN6 LE when I was in Japan, and Victor said he'd do it better. Sounds like a good cause for hope.
Keep the faith. I've definitely improved over the Japanese release. By a lot. Everything is prototyped so the product shot is of actual stuff, not dumb 3D renders of fake boxes and things. You never know how people will react (I've learned this well over the years), but I believe RPG fans will really dig this set. It's leagues beyond anything I did at Working Designs. Downside is it's more expensive than I wanted, but still cheap considering what you're getting.

And no poorly (or well) made statues or dent-prone real (or fake) steelbooks. I promise. Those are the gaming equivalent of Karadashians. I wish they'd go away, and I'm doing my small part to never include them.

UMD production has definitely stopped for the West. The last factory was in Austria (where SN5 was made), and that UMD line closed at the end of March. There's one factory running Japanese UMDs, but that will close soon, too. We're trying to slip CoH3 in there, but it's not been done before, so it's complicated. Worst case, CoH3 will be digital only, but I'm doing everything I can to get it out physically, too.

Investigated that and Vita codes for the PS4 Wonderful Edition, but it became way too expensive. The standard retail release for PS4 and PS Vita will have some special things, too - much more than most Vita and PS4 releases get, just nowhere near as elaborate as the sublime excess of the Wonderful Edition.

I do dearly love doing this, but sadly I haven't had the time for too long.

Did you single-handedly stop that factory from being closed sooner, because of those couple of hurdles you had to take in the SN5 production process?

I hope Gaijinworks can get the PSP version of Growlanser 1 over here
Digital versions of the Lunar games would be cool as well, perferably the SegaCD versions

It's a shame that the big fancy (wonderful) edition is PS4 only rather than offering it for Vita players as well. I understand logistics probably demand it, and I'll still buy a Vita copy, but I don't think I'll be able to swing a retail Vita release AND big fancy ps4 copy.

The big question is how many variants for the W.E.?
I am suprised it's being revealed already. I do like steelbooks though.

Ikr? Bad timing on this for me. I'm probably only in for one. Though I will also get the Vita standard through Amazon.

Interesting. Since it's just the PS4 game I'm hoping the "W.E." will be a hundo or less total price with shipping.

It will be a small number of variants. We had to get the set announced and presales going because there are many manufactured components in this one with long lead times and we'll have to close presales by October to give us time to manufacture, ship, and assemble it all by the February launch.
