Starts off easy and picks up difficulty. Never seemed terribly hard. But I enjoyed it. ~ 5 hours to complete.

To give a bit of a longer answer it is an old-school DRPG that is known for being difficult and having a very limited story (except the Untold games). Except for the 2 Untold games, you custom make all of your characters so they have no story to them whatsoever. Your party composition is completely customizeable as a result of this. You also have the option of drawing your own maps of the dungeons using the stylus on the bottom screen. It's a pretty fun mechanic.

I've been holding out for almost a year to see if there would be a Complete/Definitive version with the DLC on disc.
