I still don't understand it. Nobody used that word in anime fandom of the '90s. I've never seen/met a weeaboo either, so I'm not sure when everything got more weird.

When they showed her cross at first, I thought that was supposed to be Cyda's true form or something and she was a shapeshifter appearing as a little girl only to get better deals or whatnot when shopping in public, and then they made it clear in the proceeding dialog that wasn't the case.
At least Cyda looks the part, and is apparently much older. But yeah, there are younger girls around, like Ruella the underclassman, and two of the Cross companions.
Sometimes it's obvious there's something sexual intended, but other times I wonder if such context is some Moe thing were they just are portraying young girls doing/saying cute things for the sake of being cute. . . or maybe it's always perverted. I don't even understand Moe, but the intentions are questionable. It's kind of weird how it came out of nowhere and is now a huge part of anime and video games from Japan. The easy answer is probably that is sells, but I have no idea. It's like something from hentai crossed over.
It's not just the age thing either, but also this stuff with little-sister-types, or sexualized younger step-sisters, or even blood relatives seeming more and more common from what I can tell in media that isn't pornography.

Well there's nothing that NOBODY jerks off to. No matter what it is, there are people out there that'll manage to get off on it. It's hard to speak for the intentions of the creators..especially for me since I don't really watch anime. Though since you mentioned hentai, that reminded me that there were 2-3 h-games that some friends told me I should play and the music in them goes well as ringtones.
Is that supposed to be short for bishonen or something? I don't talk to/have friends into anime or really let it be known in social situations that it's an interest of mine unless there's a reason to, so I am generally unaware of this stuff (outside of when I went to conventions and anime clubs a long time ago, but I don't recall people using anime slang or talking any different . . . is that a weeaboo thing? Weird anime fans might as well have their own language these days for all I know).
