Well there's nothing that NOBODY jerks off to. No matter what it is, there are people out there that'll manage to get off on it. It's hard to speak for the intentions of the creators..especially for me since I don't really watch anime. Though since you mentioned hentai, that reminded me that there were 2-3 h-games that some friends told me I should play and the music in them goes well as ringtones.

The term "waifu" is actually kind of innocent, as it's literally japanese for "wife". It's just streamlined by fans into anime girls or something. I made the topic as a kind of joke but even then I felt wary using the term.

gotta be careful when googling things man, i tend to search on tvtropes or wikipedia these days cause i'm terrified what i might find, and at least on those sites i know i can get and answer without needing to rinse my eyes with holy water.

Yeah this is great advice for the easily offended. I will also say for internet culture stuff knowyourmeme is a good place to start and is safe.

Sorry, I was being over-dramatic. I'm pretty hard to offend, and I have passed by my fair amount of dakimakura at Anime Expo. Just didn't know the term, and the thought of people actually doing the sex to them made me laugh.

I live in darkness, so I'm not sure what could show up in an image search that would get to me outside of something clearly illegal of a sexual or violent nature (or something like crime scene photography), though all of that is easily avoided.
