Have played more this year (old and new) but those are probably my top ones this past year.
Honorable mentions go to Class of Heroes 2G and Summon Night 5... though while I have them loaded on PS3/PSTV respectively (and COH 2 for that matter), they've yet to be played lol... The backlog is real people...

I'm surprised by Legend of Legacy. Game got slammed pretty hard. I sort of enjoyed the demo, but it seemed fairly empty to me.

I got that it was a joke, albeit not a good one.

I am starting to back off on some of the ces now, not that I won't buy them, but am starting to feel even the ces are printed so much you can get them cheaper later, hell i just saw the 250dollar halo guardian edition for 80 new, what half a year or less after it came out.

Games I thought were good that I played this year were Metro Redux, Unfinished Swan, Evil Within, Sunset Overdrive, Gravity Rush, and Persona Gold.

I was excited when it was compared to SaGa games and then I found out about the lack of story and all of the battle tedium. I'll probably check it out eventually anyway, but I can't imagine being super into it if I don't like the battle system (since the style/presentation/staff that worked on the game that I'm already fond of is not going to be able to save it alone and I don't know what else it has going for it).

I've been seeing it ~150, but that doesn't suprise me. I think part of it's problem is that it's freaking HUGE. The previous Halo did the same thing.

Yeah man I swear some of these CEs have bigger print runs than some of the more niche standard releases.

My favorite game of last year was probably Donky Kong Tropical Freeze, but I haven't finished it yet so I'm not sure that counts.
