Games beaten/beaten again this year:
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Final Fantasy IV (PSP)
Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim
They're using the higher resolution fmvs that were released on a collectors dvd from back then, so thats nice. All polygon-based elements are running in a higher native resolution (like can be done in PS1 emulators), and interestingly the textures for some characters seem to be higher res (repainted? or maybe they still had the source textures?). The backgrounds are still the old 320x240 ones though instead of using the high res source art.
Hopefully it comes to Steam so everyone can enjoy it.
I imagine this game would do well there.
Lmfao imagine a 1080p 3D character running around in a 320x240 picture?
Oh, they will probably make it blurry rather than pixelated to give it their usual "soft" sucktitude.
I'm really shocked that this game is coming to PC! I could swear SE didn't care and wouldn't do it because there is no PC version from the 2000's.
BTW, I'm still waiting for the full scale remake (2D or 3D) of FF5 and FF6. They said they're interested in those still today, but they're working on so many other things too.
Well, they are. FF7 cereal.
I just wish the US got the SaGa 2 and 3 remakes for the DS (though I have no idea what they're like . . . I just love Final Fantasy Legend II & III).
