I think most of us are planning on buying those games (guess I shouldn't speak for everyone else), just the bloat on CEs have gotten ridiculous (not just SE, but others as well). I know personally I am looking forward to both games.

I'm mostly done with CEs, with occasional exceptions. I'd rather spend the money on uncommon retro games.

The problem with CEs nowadays is that they are mostly boring, interchangeable and predictable. You get your CD sampler, an art booklet, some art cards and a stupid plastic trinket, all crammed in a flimsy cardboard box at a bit of a bloated price on top of that. Or else they do actually add some nice stuff in there and then charge an insane price. Publishers seem to be completely oblivious about how they're ruining their own market.

That seems to be how some markets get ruined. Companies figure out there is money to be had in said market, flood market with subpar goods, market crashes.

That's my only concern with LRG wanting to do LE's. Hopefully they can keep them interesting. (It's what drew me to the Xonic Xotic LE with the vinyl records)

If they make more of this LE it will be hilarious since SE will basically be showing they're just in it for the money. If they get too much flack, they could just make another MORE expensive set at $350 and include some other stupid trinket.

Weird they are doing a film. Only thing I hate about CG movies from video game companies is that the lip syncing/facial animations are horrendous.
