Square Enix announced "Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin" yesterday, April 11, 2016. Its due out this spring in Japan and by the games description, it may be a smart phone game... :/ Still, a new Valkyre Profile game would be a dream come true! Now I must go change my pants.

Man, frak mobile games. I mean, cutesy little side games are fine and whatnot, but lets not make "sequels" to strong IPs mobile only... then make a crappy port to console/PC. We deserve better.
I agree m, we do deserve better. But it sounds more like a spin off than an actual sequel. I say this because of the lack of "Profile" in the name, but then the DS VP wasn't at all like then first 2 So who knows? Better than nothing I say...hope I don't regret saying this.
I think FF15 is going to be great. I think most of us will be pleasantly surprised. And Kingdom Hearts has always sucked. I outgrew Disney at age 9. To each their own tho.

With no gameplay in that trailer, I want to believe it can be more than just a "Pay $30 to recruit 10 Einherjar + 1 Einherjar free! Guarantee of 1 3* or higher!" type of game. I want to believe you could make a rad Valkyrie Profile using touch controls and have it be a real game.
I also want to believe that people would not complain about a free bonus box on a limited print run but we have seen how that turned out :|
