So did I does it ever come back or respawn in the town? What about alchemy?

I don't think it gets much better, but there is clearly room to improve it. Memory is still tight (on the PSP and, surprisingly also the PS3 version), but I'll put reducing the steps on your list down as a possible change we can make for CoH3. Part of the problem (and it's my problem) is I'm not a huge fan of any alchemy systems and just don't use them much in any game. If I used it more as a player, I would probably be more motivated to change it. But I hear what you're saying, and I'll see what I can do.
I also don't like alchemy systems *at all*. It's just tedious nonsense and just serves as a way to make games more annoying if it's required to advance the storyline. The last thing that I want to do is run around and grind to fetch materials to advance a game. Other than doing it for a few quests for COH2, I ignored it for the rest of the game (partially because it was broken).
Fortunately, there were only a few that sort of required alchemy, and a alchemy was a shortcut over grinding monster drops to get the high level item you needed. I used it pretty much just for those cases and Wyvern Call Tickets until I could buy unlimited supplies on the other side.
CoH2 gives you so little money, especially early on, that I probably would have given up on the game altogether if not for the alchemy. As tedious as I find the crafting system, I can't imagine doing without.
It could have been a lot worse, too—whoever designed the crafting system for the Tactics Ogre remake should be shot.

I honestly thought that the game was too easy. Yeah, it starts out a bit challenging (depends a bit on the party), but by the time you level up in the woods and can have at least two mages that can spam Ragnarok, you've actually got to use some self discipline to try not to abuse it.
Less than halfway through the game, I was overpowered. I also didn't even change any classes because I didn't feel that I'd gain a lot. It's almost as if the game designers expect that you're going to have to deal with the penalties for doing so.
That said, I really liked the game. It never felt tedious or boring when I was exploring and grinding, and I was surprised that a story starts to develop by the time you complete several objectives. I hadn't played a real dungeon crawler like this since Wizardry 7 (which means back in the 90s on a 486 DX2 66), and I wasn't sure what I'd think.

Does anyone know what does the rebirth scroll does? I have tried using it and turned a weapon into a + one (example, Sword+), but it seems to be the same as a normal sword. I have improved it to the max (Sword ++9) but it's stats seem to be the same as a Sword +9. Am I missing something? Thanks.
