If I am reading things right it has extras for the first game with it.

For some bizarre reason, it seems as though NISA is releasing both of these games on 1 game cart, and not selling Yomawari separately like they originally did with The Firefly Diary.... why they're doing this... maybe to push old/leftover stock of the extras of the first print run?

Sucks that you have to pay more even if you only want the newer game though..

That's 100% confirmed? They don't mention it anywhere as far as I know. Although I only checked the store pages of NISA and Amazon.

Well, both the LE and the regular editions have reversible covers with the Hotaru no Nikki box art on the flipside. And there's the contents of the LE.

So yeah, everything points towards a duo release. But not 100% confirmed.

It's definitely both. Confirmed on NISA's forum. Really weird. I'm very likely going to sell/trade my copy now.

Edit: Here is a link, and bizarrely they are claiming Firefly Diary as a new release: https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2016...-this-october/

That's the EU PS blog. It's a new release in Europe. We didn't get a physical release yet.

Can't help but feel though that Hotaro no Nikki is only on there to justify a higher price, since it originally was a budget release and they probably want more money for Yomawari.

Lol, I copied/pasted and didn't even totally read it.

    Way to go NISA! :|

Not sure why anyone would buy the mousepad over getting something solid like a Goliathus, which is cheaper, surely better, and a bit larger. Firefly Diary in there to bump the price is... yeah <_<.

To be honest, all of this price-bumping makes me worry about the quality of the game now... I've gone from slightly hyped to upset.

Gypsy, don't sell the original copy. It's one of those things where the pointless original will be cool to own as a thing.

It's unfortunate that the Yomawari LE has Firefly Diary and content from the respective LE instead of being lower in price or having more LE items specific to Yomawari. I could always sell Firefly Diary to make up for it, but I'm probably too much of a completist. However, I'm glad this is getting a physical release and that it doesn't seem as limited as NISA implied it would be when it was announced earlier. I've seen enough footage from the import version to justify getting this physically in some form or another.

I'm on the fence about getting it from Amazon for less and it most likely showing up somewhat busted up (or worse) or getting it from NISA and paying more, but being able to use Prinny points and add it to my Grand Kingdom pre-order to get free shipping and get Grand Kingdom later. Ordering Yomawari from NISA along with Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet would be ideal . . . though I'm also on the fence about that game (though at least it's about as cheap as NISA LEs get). I'll probably end up getting it with Genso Rondo because each game would be slightly over $45 after Prinny points and that sounds good to me, even if I'm not super into Genso Rondo (I doubt I would hate it, but not sure how many hours I'd get out of the game or if I'd care much for it after going through the story mode or whatnot).
