A friend sent me a link with some details, I think its supposed to be a US release specifically, it wiil be on the squenix store, it will be at least ps4 if not also vita, and might have a regular version , a limited version, and then the crystal version. And from what I hear it favors using uncut Japanese versions where ever possible.
Well we shall see if it comes to pass.
Klown, you got the info from the first link that was posted. You just repeated what it said!
I can understand less effort but they could have easily used that quality from the 124PSP sprites for 5 and 6
hopefully they use the PS1 versions or gba versions of 5 and 6 even though the PS1 versions are the worst of all of them because of the load times and other glitches that the two games have

Odd list, some of the inclusions surprised me. Last Story for example. I really loved it, but would not expect it to be on a list like this. Lots I don't like on it though.

I think it's a pretty good list. I think that Last Story is as good as many of the games on the list, but not everyone feels the same way about it.
It's mostly SNES and PS1 classics, as expected. The PS360 and Wii stuff is pretty much top tier for the genre on these platforms. Shows how few good RPGs really existed last gen. In spite of the fact that PS2 is a favorite among many, note that Persona 4 is the only title. PS2 had a lot of RPGs but so many are forgettable in retrospect.
The list has some inaccuracies. For instance, War of the Lions is the PSP rerelease of Tactics.
I haven't played at least 4 or 5 of the games here (on my todo list). I'd remove Radiant Historia. Hated that game. I could do without Xenoblade and FF 7 also. I'd add several games (FF IV, and Lost Odyssey, for instance). Honestly, while I still love many of the games on this list, I don't feel that all are "must play" anymore. It's nostalgia. I played Secret of Mana last year, with my son, and while it's fun it's nothing revolutionary. It lacks a quality narrative and has far too many bugs by today's standards.
Similarly, I couldn't get into Chrono Trigger recently.
