Lol, I actually have a new project with some funds tied up in it, need to get that taken care of and move forward with it first.

Heh, my kiddo is 4.5 years old so she is probably at that point where she can finally play/enjoy stuff as well but I'm trying to keep her started off in earlier generation stuff first. She has a hard time being able to look at the screen do something independent with her hands like a controller, but she can handle touchscreens. Not sure I want to promote that first though :|
I see so many little kids with phones/tablets anymore. Seems too young for that to me. I do think starting off with the older stuff first is good. Plenty of easier things on older systems. (more basic graphics/gameplay).
Insert the usual GTAV recommendation.
And PS4 over switch by a mile.
I don't know, to be honest. The Switch's growing library is a surprise even to me, and I've always thought that the system had a brighter future than most of its detractors, but it's only because you guys got me back into portable gaming. PS4 is certainly still more powerful but aren't we at a point of diminishing returns, especially considering the portability? Switch 2.0 will probably have what it takes to keep up just enough with the PS4 PRO PRO and XBox One Dos Equis.
One has to wonder though. We all sorta called it years ago that Vita had the potential to be a big thing for Sony, but they blew it with PSTV by crippling it. There is no reason that the hardware couldn't have been a "Switch" last generation and ultimately and upgrade path for future consoles due to the nature of its architecture and the way mobile has gone. Imagine if Vita had docking ability like Switch?
PS4 is a great machine now, but what are Sony and Microsoft going to do next?
Yeah, matter of what games you like. I've really enjoyed my PS4 and glad I got it when I did. X1 barely gets any attention, basically if I decide to play Forza. Switch is looking to have more potential than I had anticipated.
Vita had so much potential. I agree, someones dumb idea to remove the hdmi out and make pstv instead really hurt it. We could have been looking forwards to Vita 2 at this point.
