Would it not make more sense that a cold load would be loading a save you haven't played in a long time?

I froze a cup of noodles in my freezer. Is this a cold load?
When I drop an NES cart into the mud on a rainy day, is this a cold load?
So confused. Lifes.
That's just you not finishing the game, before you've moved onto another, new RPG. Or you decided to make a second save in the same RPG game.
Okay, basically. My own, personal definition of a cold load is just like a, that feeling you get when you do something in an RPG and it's pretty much something that you don't have to do but if you don't do it it's considered bad strategy.
You are playing Chinchirorin in Suikoden and you can't get a good streak in. A cold load is if you stubbornly keep trying and lose enough money (Potch) to the point that you reset, when you should've resetted in the first place. The best move would have been to reset/restart the videogame because you didn't have good luck in the mini-games.Okay, basically. Like, if Nall doesn't revive the person you want him to when two characters fall in battle is a good example of a cold load in an RPG that I really like.
Another example from a popular RPG that everyone's probably already played is leveling up All materia or something. I remember that was the dumbest thing ever.
Maybe a cold load in most RPG's in America is not knowing the name or what to name the main character when the lifes screen asks you?
Another common example is not leveling up Luna in the Sega CD version of Lunar: The Silver Star.
Not using the E. Key as Nina is a really big example of a cold load in Breath of Fire, especially after you've used it once and you realize she can hit all the enemies.
Not moving Shadow's Throw Item to the #1 slot. Is this a, "Cold Load"?
Does Shadow's Throw Item take precedence over Edgar's Auto Crossbow in the Items/Inventory Slot Screens? Is this a cold load?

Cup of ice water in your lap a cold load?
I used to have a first-gen PS1 that had a lot of problems playing games, even if they were in great condition. The only way I was able to get through certain games was to pull the disc out whenever it was having troubles loading, put them in a freezer for a few minutes until they developed some frost on them, then quickly put the half-frozen discs in the PS1 so it could finish loading.
Was that a Cold Load?
