    Black Friday

Since the previous topics were 2014/2015 here's a new one.

So far I've not seen anything to bother with. All of the past deals I had been getting aren't happening this year. Like the tubs of cat litter, $9 isn't worth the madness when I can get them for $10-11 the rest of the year. Basically every store I used to get certain things at is blah. Actually relieved in a way, just stay home and do nothing. I bet I'll find a store or two yet.

Yeah, I work at Amazon, and it's going to be crazy busy, but haven't really looked too much into specific deals our website would be getting.

Edit: The most I ever spent for BF was probably around 2010/2011 when the website actually had GOOD deals on video games, especially on the DS. I'm not saying $10 off, but in some cases over half off the MSRP.

15 + years ago I used to do a lot for BF. Compusa would have a load of free PC stuff, and so many other stores would have great deals and giveaway stuff.

Amazon? So we can blame you for the troubles we have with Amazon now?

All I'm really planning to snag is a 2TB external HD for $75CAD. I don't really need it, but why not, more HD space is always good.

I might also snag the Fairy Fencer F CE from Iffy. Seeing as they need to blow them out, I'm pleased I skipped it. And maybe this will teach them a lesson about producing boatloads of CEs,

You're at that monstrous fulfillment center that I see on the way to the airport.

I just got a new 2 TB Seagate for like $99 US, but it's a higher performing 2.5" model. Going in the NUC tomorrow. The main drive is Samsung solid state. Throwing the old 1TB drive in an enclosure and retiring a few others.

Is Iffy doing a Black Friday sale? I'd get the MeiQ one if it was a bit cheaper, maybe the ornament too.

Besides the $9 tubs of cat litter which bandit reminded me about there's not much on my hitlist since I just bought a new TV from Costco at the end of last week taking advantage of their early black Friday sale.

Will probably also get a TED when Krikzz does them 20% off as well.

I'm also in the market for a decent sized external drive but I'm pretty cheap. Costco had a 4TB for about $120 a couple weeks back but my need for storage/consolidation isn't that high right now. I'd rather spend money on other stuff where it's "needed"

I am also in for a Turbo ED. Probably all I'm doing this year. Ended up buying some N64 games unexpectedly due to gassssss pricing.

I'm just hoping for some nice sales on SSDs. The 128GB SSD I've been using for the past 5 years still works as good as the day I bought it, but 128GB just isn't enough these days :/
