I don't have blus yet (waiting on cheaper and maybe the steelbooks). But I have multiples of vhs/dvd and 1/3 on LD.
I've had ep 7 blu for months and still not bothered to watch it.

Lol, watch it jeez.
I got the blus for like, 50 cents. Not actually, but I had to return a game that didn't work to a store and saw them and it was around the same price. I didn't want to look around for something else so I said eff it.

Well, even with Fox having distro rights, I don't believe Lucas has anymore say in things, unless there's stuff in a contract. I can't imagine Disney won't do it tho once 2020 hits and they gain distro. Too much money invested to not make some bank on them like that. I'm sure Fox likes money enough to go in with Disney on a box set.
I sure hope it happens, I'm just not holding my breath.

Well Disney could just buy Fox. They own about everything else now...
I hope it does as well. Disney has worked with other companies before with stuff. I mean, the first several Marvel movies in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe were done by Universal and Paramount, but were all released in the first big Avengers Phase One box set. I think it's more a "when" than an "if."
The original negatives for the theatrical versions of Episode IV-VI don't exist anymore, so it would be quite a task to reassemble the films from various backup prints and restore them to a state worth putting on Blu-ray.
Disney certainly has the money for it.
And it would certainly pay for itself. It's Star Wars.
