Not sure how that saves space then? I guess a slight amount, since you don't need a lid to be able to pop open. If you have them on say, a rack, then it doesn't really matter.

Yes, I can stick move into the same area. If you have fixed shelves then it really wouldn't matter.

In general I like front loading for the space reason mainly. But easy lense access is nice though.

Yeah, see the thing is I have a lot of systems hooked up at one, but not all of them are easy to have the lid open on. Like the dreamcast I need to pull out, open, put the game in, then close and slide back into the center. Same with a couple others. A total PITA so any chance I can get to consolidate and have easier space to access I will take it.

Well, it's only really space efficient if you are willing to stack systems on top of each other. :/

I have most of mine standing vertically on the top shelf, could only fit one system there in they were top loaders.

I need to get the exact model, but they've been selling for $3k+ on eBay. I'm certainly willing to sell it for less, but not quite $200 low. It's a Pioneer 2-channel. I never think to look when I'm actually at home.

I did look, and have since forgotten again. The range I'd sell for largely depend on to whom. I just set a reminder for after work to check, and then I'll double check what the are selling for, and I'll have a better answer for you.

It's a Pioneer SX-1980. Ideally I'd like to get $2500 for it, but this of course is just going by what they've sold for on eBay. This is also very flexible depending on who would purchase it.
