My Samsung HDTV won't allow color temperature tweaking with the OSSC at 4x lines, but the Framemeister works fine with said feature. Plus the picture shakes a bit with the OSSC, and some other HDTVs only accept Line 2x or line 3x. Never considered the Retrotink cause it won't accept SCART/JP-21. Never used an FPGA console but I'm following Polymega developments. Also of note are Pound's cables, in certain circumstances, they outperform the XRGB mini (eg PS1 anime cutscenes look much less pixelated.) I'm fine with options, thought I do hope they release a XRGB-mini 2 at some point...preferably with JP-21 built in without that weird adapter thing. 4K wouldn't hurt but I still use 1080p monitors mostly anyway.
I would definitely pay attention if Micomsoft released another product and it performed even better than the FM.

Man, SolarisJapan does have a lot of Micomsoft stuff in stock. Kind of surprising but nice.

You switch to FPGA and you might not want the CRT for long.

I'm waiting for someone to design a proper console with MiSTer.

FPGA is a lot like emulating except you don't have to tinker. I've tried it.

What's a good site to get capacitors from?

Found Mouser, seems good but dumb shipping price.

Digikey is pretty good. Also Console5 sells cap kits.

Iíll check digikey out. I actually need some for other things so the kits wonít work. I did get a couple kits from console5 before.
