Like hardware specs mean anything other than "it's more powerful". PCs have some great games and so do consoles. The line is blurred a bit with all of these cross-platform releases so it's all about what you want to play or buy.

I mean. Who wants to play Daikatana on the Dough-Six-Faux? AMIRITE?

Running, looking, and playing better notwithstanding . I was giving Klown some of his own medicine. If people want to buy and play console stuff they're welcome to it and I don't care. I also won't hesitate to laugh when the spec wars start or wild claims about underutilized system power start flying.

I know it was posted a few pages back, but little discussion on the matter. Anyone else think that it's weird that Disgaea 5 is on its way to Switch?

I guess it makes sense since Vita is more dead than Switch at this point, and probably couldn't handle the game.

I was hoping for a Vita version but you are right in that it probably can't run it. I'll definitely pick it up for Switch at some point since it will be the definitive version for content, but just the standard edition.

It's cute and funny but so incredibly stupid. They keep spinning it as something like: "You don't have to be a parent. We can do it for you!" I don't want to have a relationship with my son where I can't discuss guidelines with him and have to hide behind an app to be "non-confrontational". That's why so many kids grow up to be self-absorbed don't know limits to anything. They had useless parents.

Very. I was expecting it to see a Vita port like Gyp but that's looking less and less likely.

I almost think that Big N is taking a gamble that Switch will be ultimately that platform for developers that want to put games on a portable and haven't committed only to tablets / phones. In spite of the success of mobile, we have to recognize that there are a lot of games that just won't work on them.

Dragon Quest, Skyrim, SMT, a new version of Street Fighter 2, and a Tales game, among others. Hell, even a new No More Heroes game for what it's worth.

I honestly don't think that this portable console looks like a failure in spite of what people might say. Where else are you going to play portable Skyrim without lugging around a laptop PC?

Switch will succeed eventually. It's the natural progression of gaming. A dedicated console, yet portable to take anywhere. What can go wrong? *hides*
