    vita problems need help

so i thought perhaps someone could help me out here. i haven't found much googling and sony support was no help at all. my vita is a year or so old, probably has 100 or so hours on it. anytime it isn't turned on for a week or more it updates the database when i start it & switches all the icons (bubbles) around, some disappear & saves will revert to earlier saves meaning i lose a lot of progress. lost over 10 hours in rainbow moon. i have 2 memory cards, an 8 & a 64 gb. whenever i switch them the same thing happens. i try to retrieve the games & saves in the content manager ( if it happens to be one of the bubbles that reappears) but it doesn't appear there is a way to do it unless i'm missing something. sometimes games i deleted will reappear in some sort of half/corrupted state & it won't let me delete them so i have to power down & back up & hope they don't appear. i'm at the point where i'm just going to call the damn thing a dud & buy a new one but figured i'd ask on here. if anyone has any ideas or similair experiences i'd appreciate it. by the way i have tried the restore & format options, all they really do is change what icons/bubbles reappear when i power up. thanks.

Wait, so the same thing that happens when you switch the memory card, also happens WITHOUT switching it?

Restoring the database again should make the missing stuff pop up again.
