Now this is something I never understood. Why even bother with 3DS barely improved re-releases of DS games if the 3DS can already play DS games?
But then again, why should I care anyway? Radiant Historia is and will forever be just another Atlus turd.
Heck, you might as well just play this game:

There has yet to be a Shin Megami Tensei game on Vita, PS3 or PS4
A main Shin Megami Tensei game, not a spinoff series like Persona
I'm still waiting for Atlus to do something with the Growlanser series

I don't really get what Atlus is thinking honestly, they have no incentive to keep SMT, Eterian Odyssey, etc exclusive only on handhelds and specifically Nintendo handhelds. Especially considering Nocturne was on the ps2. Then again, I think Atlus much like NIS, is a shell of its former self.

Just play some Metroid Prime instead.

Metroid Prime is too much God tier! Something more humble can suffice, like Mother M or Federation Force are refined nice-tier games.

It looks like SMT5 is going to be on the Switch, so that's not quite a handheld exclusive.

Development is cheaper and most SMT fans will buy the games anyway.

i personally didn't care for radiant historia. very confusing, i had to use a walkthrough numerous times to know which time period to go to, who to speak to, etc. not saying it's an awful game, just not my thing i suppose. i'd rather see a remake (or reprint) of solatorobo so i could finally play it for a decent price.
