    These were manufactured in China. They are not from the same factory or molds, as ours are still being revised. We will not release ours until they are absolutely perfect. We never made our explicitly to sell as replacements so even if someone else is in the marketplace it is fine.

    I will say, though, that these particular cases will probably end up on Aliexpress or Alibaba for significantly less than they are on sale for here. That's the danger of manufacturing in China, which is why we didn't take that path.

    Im glad you guys chose to manufacture in the US, and I love that you are passionate enough to make them 100% to spec. Yours will likely end up being my preference.

    Do you guys have an estimate on when?

    I think they do mention it is US manufactured on tweets somewhere.
