I had no idea that it was shutting down. My account was about 15 years old there, and I was around when he opened the forums before I eventually signed up.

I never spent much time there after the first year or two due to the hostility among people. Kinda a wacky bunch with a few loose screws. I see that there was still drama around there to the very end.
