Thread: Lunar on PlayStation Classic?

    Lunar on PlayStation Classic?

    Stop laughing.

Just curious what the chances are, especially with some major classics being in doubt for various reasons leaving some space to fill (Symphony of the Night is being re-released, Gran Turismo and Tony Hawk Pro Skater have about a hundred licensing problems). Since Lunar hasn't made it to any download service yet this would be the perfect opportunity to cut through the red tape.

The same odds that coh3 will see a physical release.

Fairly sure it wonít. Atleast not the wd version. I think the possible wd games are already up. Vic said lunar rights were a mess. I doubt thatís changed.

The classic is only getting what, 20 games? While Lunar may have been big as far as WD games went, compared to the wider Playstation market this seems beyond unlikely, even if the rights were easy

True but Jumping Flash is on there. Now I like that game but itís definitely more obscure than Lunar.

I hope Suikoden 1 and 2 are on it.

    Maybe Koudelka.

The PlayStation Classic is in a weird bind because if you include just the most popular games you'll only cover 4 or 5 franchises by the time you fill the 20 slots.

Unless they want to load the thing with nothing but Crash Bandicoots, Spyros, and Tomb Raiders they'll have to pull from a wider assortment of titles.

Indeed, The best plan is to limit each franchise to 1 or 2.

this, should be a good mix and cover a broad area for best reach.
Any clue if this is going to be "nintendo" limited or actually produced?

I doubt they will put any CB games on there since they just released a proper remake of the trilogy.

It'd be embarrassing not to have Crash Bandicoot. That'd be like the SNES Classic not having Super Mario World.
