This list shows million sellers. I'd expect that 10-15 would be obvious choices for Nintendo.

    So, basically games I listed?

Tony Hawk is impossible due to licensing I'm sure. If they could get the Rare games there are several easy includes there.

With an emulator that didn't suck and no bizarre decisions like Sony with the PSC I could see an N64 classic doing alright. PS2 classic could do alright if Sony wants to dedicate the time to it and fine tune the emulator so there aren't performance issues with any games.

It's all on Rare Replay (Xbox Exclusive), and since Rare is still owned by Microsoft, doubtful that will ever happen.

Without Rare, you don't really have an N64 Classic.

Apparently Microsoft's N64 emulator was quite good.

Yep, I addressed that in my first post. I did not consider how much of an absolute nightmare Tony Hawk would be though.

Meh selection of games and piss poor effort from Sony (Laughable emulation effort, poor performance, pal games, hugely missed potential with this device as a whole by locking in the lineup with no way to add more when so many PS1 games are available digitally, etc) is why this is bad, not because first generation 3D graphics aged poorly.

I'd be fine with an N64 Classic with the usual games people predict would be in it, and graphics untouched from 240p. Lots of people remember the 480p look on PC emulators and this sadly creates a shock when they go back to the original console.

Real problem is, besides power and emulation, the N64 is known for its couch multiplayer games like Mario Kart, Smash Bros and Mario Party. They're not as fun to play alone except for the first few times when I needed to learn how to play so I could play with friends, but I DONT HAS FRIENDS NOW!!!1
Even if I did, most people don't like these old games cause "they aged poorly". Also, the controllers... N64 controllers are huge, and multiplayer would require lots of room for that, ruining the point of "mini console" and would be quite expensive to get together.

I would like having the Zelda games but their remakes were significantly better to me. If I was making decisions at Nintendo, I'd abandon that idea and just remake N64 games for Switch. The 3DS Zeldas only need HD graphics and enhanced music. Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 both need fixing too anyway. Super Smash Bros needs no improvements past graphics and possibly orchestrated music.

Lots of people would buy the N64 Mini though, because it would be really powerful for higher quality emulation of older systems. Im not sure the NES and SNES Classics can play their entire library because they're a bit weaker?

It's funny, but I think the controllers would need to change so the stupid thing could fit in a small box. If the controllers change, though, it no longer would be a "classic".
