I'd be fine with a new Lunar Dragon Song, a new game should at least live up to those graphics, music, story writing and characters, though obviously if it ruined the gameplay it's gonna get burned and never have Lunar games again so we don't want that I think?
I gotta say, Lunar Dragon Song can be seen as the hero that saved this series from getting ruined with shitty 2000's / 2010's sequels. I think slow tedious gameplay keeps lazy people away too, leaving only more pure Lunar fans to appreciate it for its Lunar-like qualities.
But yeah, if this succeed, a new game gets made, and it lives up to those qualities while also having good JRPG gameplay, then that's a total success for me even if it won't be in the same tier as Lunar 1 and 2, but it can at least lead to something like that in a distant future. We just got Splatoon 3 just 6 years after the first game. As humans we're also capable of making a Lunar 3 at least 40 years after the first game, right?
