Well, there ARE only 300 owners worldwide, maybe even less if some people own multiple copies. What are the odds of one of them considering selling his or her copy? You're not going to find one listed every single week.

But here is a listing from december last year, for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Elminage-Ori...p2047675.l2557

Seems like it even got relisted.

For seriously hard to find items, go to collector sites and put up trade requests for the game specifically... someone who owns it may come forward.

Yeah, it's not super likely to work but in cases where the game isn't even always on Ebay you might as well do everything you can.

It took almost a whole day to sell out. I have no idea why they chose only 300, but if they had done more, who knows how long they would have been holding on to them.

I think LRG has shown us, not very long.

Most LRG stuff sells out in minutes, this took a whole day. Clearly if they did this now as opposed to back then, it would sell out much faster. Whether it was awareness, whether it was demand, or people that couldn't/didnt think they could order it, it took a lifetime to sell out by LRG standards.

I didn't know about it back then, or else I may have attempted to order Eliminate Origins.

i certainly didn't know about it. i can't imagine you'd even be able to make any money printing 300 copies of a game. so, yeah, no idea why they would print so few.

Auto correct? 300 is super low yeah, but it doesn't matter if they would have printed 3000. Years after the fact there will always be someone who didn't know about it and wish they had printed more. People say the same thing about GW releases and their pre-orders are up for a month or more.
