Yeah. I hear that as well. I checked my mint copy and it's Ultragunner as well.

Same goes for a lot of the PlayStation stuff like there was the annoying-looking Sony warranty cards to go with it, too. If you're planning on selling it in the future, I'd keep that stuff even if you ripped it open to play it yourself. I actually buy it and that's just what I do with it. I'm more inclined to get a certain game if there's a strategy guide to along with it.

I got Bastion's Ultragunner too since you're all talking about it.
I only really generally collect mint / complete as well, but I've been making exceptions for some 16-bit games or earlier, because I just want to play them (for instance, I buy loose Atari VCS carts because they are so common and even boxed most have little value).

It's getting really hard to find some boxed SNES games for a reasonable price. Genesis games are getting harder to find with manuals for a reasonable price, so I usually only buy them in lots. PC Engine games are still not too bad but the prices have skyrocketed over the past few years. TurboGrafx has become impossible where people were practically giving away games 5 years ago.

I really only have doubles because dishonest Ebay sellers listed most of them as "Like New". I haven't figured out what to do with them and mainly just want to let someone else play them.

I'm not convinced that people actually pay the more extreme asking prices that I've seen floating around, but I may just be happier being ignorant on the matter.

...nah, in this case I'm definitely convinced no one is buying. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00003...&pi=SX200_QL40

It's just trolling prices at best. For the shock factor alone. No one is going to buy that $1800 copy of Lufia 2, save for a nuclear bomb going off and magically destroying all other copies of the game. It should be taken as a quiet chuckle at best.

Yeah. That's pretty much hilarious. If it's not an accident, it's someone that's totally lost their mind.

lol you guys should check out the autographed Mega-Drive Tetris. It sells for a million dollars XD. The seller even refused offers from around 20 grand from what I've read, probably the biggest VG sales gag ever.
