I actually beat it back in the day (Alundra 2) and thought it was fairly good.

I never got to beat it, stopped at some point. Now is my opportunity to revisit it.
I always thought Alundra 2 was underrated and Alundra massively overrated. I do think Alundra is the better game, but man was the game overhyped. Also had way too many variants even by Working Design standards.
So I missed out on a rule of rose trade demo, but got the Persona 4 one. I just wasn't expecting the auction to go for more than double the previous one that sold, and that one was a buy it now that sat for a few days.
I think that Alundra's appeal is in its similarity to Landstalker, which was pretty highly regarded and (what I've played) is pretty fun. Many of the same core people worked on them. All of the games are more or less standalone, so I suspect that the naming thing was strictly a Sony marketing decision.
Reminds me that I need to go back to Landstalker and put more time into it.
Z will be proud:
Spoiler:
That is a lot of metal and what appears to be a Switch, sans Joycons.
Half a switch.... ewww...
Never heard of most of those bands. I've been wanting to pick up some new cds.
Among other things, I finally picked up Darkstalkers. Japanese PS3 version that has the second and third game and had only a domestic digital release.
