    @Bandit: SNESC are much more widely available. You should be able to get one for msrp if you try for it.

    Yeah. I don't think I know someone that wanted one and couldn't get one for MSRP.

    Hearsay suggests that my local EBs would get 1-2 NES Classics when they got restocks, where the SNES Classic has been getting 8-10 units. So production could easily be 5x the NES Classic numbers. Also, I went crazy to simply obtain my NES Classic (for the MSRP) and nobody else in my family managed to get one. My family has already obtained 3 SNES Classics, and I guess we're done buying? Maybe I might buy some more for scalping? They're still easily selling for double the MSRP, because they're perceived as rare.

    Nintendo claims that they will be releasing more NES classics, right after the SNES classic boom. May be early 2018. Just hold out and don't buy either from scalpers.
