People underestimate the PC Engine until they really dig deep into it. In many ways it's held up better than Genesis and SNES. I tend to prefer the the general graphics and color depth of the PC Engine over the Genesis, though it's not technically as fancy with parallax and scrolling. Though the color depth is lower than the SNES, it also doesn't seem to have the same sprite handling limitations and is just a faster system. SNES really seems to be crippled by its CPU, where its competitors are not. In terms of audio, I also think that it generally holds up way better than the Genesis outside of the games that really made proper use of the Yamaha chip. I used to love the SNES sampled audio, but over time I've come to find that the 32 khz samplerates and size limitations really hold it back, while the majority of Genesis games just sound dirty and gritty when not handled well. The wavetable processing and the noise generators in the PCE audio hardware seems like a cleaner version of the Genesis. PCE Engine is sorta that bridge between the best and worst parts of the Genesis and the SNES, without any substantial advantages or weaknesses that the other have. It's just an all around impressive console.
Oh, stop, you!
So I met the Turbo guy again for the 3rd time. Once again in awe at the stuff he has.
This time mostly all SNEs.
$100 for all this. Its amazing to find someone who had this type of taste. Just super odd titles for someone to have. Sonic Blast Man II, Kid Kleats and SkyBlazer especially.

I don't know the games but I'm guessing that's another good deal. Nice going.
Pretty cool, some unusual games there.
