Seriously. Try the Super Pots for the paddles. I've cleaned some originals, and upgraded others, and the upgrades are worth it. Then get a few bros over for beers and Warlords.

Ok, I'll consider them. Looks like something worth buying for a set anyhow. The paddles are the Cali model and the racing ones are later. I haven't tried any other controllers yet. Was going to clean the system then see what works of rest of the controllers.

Finally ordered a PS4. Pro, GoW Limited Edition, will be here next week.

I almost never pay full price for a console and debated getting the standard PS4 slim at $269, but figured I'd make an exception. Game is on BDROM so it's at least worth $60 of it for a new game.

The pro does seem better to go for those that don't have one. Faster load times and better graphics than the standard. (varies) I see little reason to upgrade to one still.

I figured I can squeeze a bit more life out of the Pro since games seem to be taking advantage of its improvements. There will be a point where the Pro becomes the new Slim and a new (PS5?) gets released as an upgrade, but I think we have at least a year or so in spite of what the rumors indicate.

Plus, the kid wants to play Fortnite and keeps bugging me about it. I kinda want to play it too though.

Picked up a couple springs that are similar to the atari CX-10 ones. They need the length trimmed down. Do seem slightly stiffer but as close as I can get for now. I believe they'll turn out fine when I'm done.


Wouldn't suprise me if they drop the normal ps4 and shift the pro to a slim model, likely cutting something from it. I just hope the PS5 is meant to last more than 1 year before the ps5 slim/pro is out.
