Beat romancing saga 2 last night. Absolutely loved it, can't waight for the scarlet Grace port to try out 3. I'm trying to decide if I should try the port of 1 on ps2.

Games beaten/beaten again this year:
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Final Fantasy IV (PSP)
Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim
So I had been hankering to play through Shining Force 3 1-3. So I burned a translated copy of 1, and if my recollection is correct it required a memory card to carry your save over to Scenario 2 because the save file takes up pretty much the entire system memory. Well I played through 3 battles, saved the game to my memory card. Went back and the save wasn't there, so I went into my system memory and it showed only a save for Soul Hackers, but like 70000 open space. So I formatted it thinking maybe it being a japanese save was the problem. Now it reads 0 blocks of memory on the memory card. I tried changing out the battery in the Saturn (old one was probably dead, and this one had never been used) still no luck. I really wanted to play it on my modded Saturn, but I guess I will have to settle for Saturn Beetle (mednafen) because it seems to have the best compatibility.

Not sure what the issue is but I can confirm that have Japanese saves are a non-issue.

13+ hours into SF3 scenario 1. Enjoying myself thouroughly and really looking forward to the next 2 scenarios. Feels nice to be out of my funk, I was struggling really hard to find something to play before romancing saga 2.
