Went emulator instead of actual hardware. Still haven't sorted it out yet. I have found some posts about the same thing happening with the system memory, but not the memory card. One of them even featured a post from element circa like 2013.

Finally opened my SNES Classic Edition. Fun console. One of my NES Classic wireless controllers works with it (and even has shoulder buttons), but I want to get ones that are more akin to the SNES controller style.

Played through Arrow Flash, it wasn't very good.

Well, I guess I may have a scratch on my SF3 disk because it keeps freezing during the aftermath of killing a specific boss in Scenario 6. Le sigh, now I need to find a good copy of the iso.

It may be emulator related rather than ISO related, I found another ISO and it froze in the same spot sadly

Well it turns out my disc has unreadable parts at the end of the disc. Somewhat fortunately, If I choose to not try to save someone in that fight, it doesn't freeze, however the chat stuff afterwards is all fubared. Oh well, who needs that character for Scenario 3.

Playing Battle Chasers: Nightwar on Switch. Besides the horrible name, the presentation and gameplay is pretty solid. Plays like a turn-based jrpg, but with a western flair.
