Still playing lots of fighters here. Finally started dipping into the first Blazblue game while making my way through the massive SNK backlog. Blazblue is surprisingly way better than I expected. I've been trying to beat fighting games with every character / team on the roster, and it's not actually that hard.

On the PS2 side, I talked about it a but but really love the Brook converters for using my PS4 fight stick on older systems. Just got one for Dreamcast as well and it's AWESOME. Way better option than buying an original Agetec stick.
Is there a reason you are buying individual converters compared to a multi-system solution? Not trying to be sarcastic or anything, maybe they are better.

Anyway, I've been playing God Hand here and there, but mostly been catching up on watching movies lately more than playing games. Waiting for an RDR2 price drop. Valkyria 4 will probably be the next new game I get.

The Brook converters are the universal standard for fighting tournaments, low latency and well made. The company is trusted and the hardware has been well-supported through firmware upgrades. They are one of the few converters that are most often stated as being permitted in most fighting tournaments.

I want something that has no more than 1 frame of added lag, at most. Not every Brook converter is fast but they seem to be close if not slightly faster than a native Dual Shock 2 on my PS2 when paired with a Quanba Drone.

I probably wouldn't use them in a USB to USB situation, but they are great for older consoles.

I agree that they probably could stretch the flexibility of their converters a bit more. For instance, they could make one that is USB in and out that could cross-convert to all platforms if they really wanted. Things get sketchier when dealing with old-school connectors though, since there are important considerations on the R/C circuit side since it's not strict USB.

Still playing HZD and LBP Vita: doing The Frozen Wilds DLC for the former, missing only 2 trophies for the plat on the latter.

Why not get a multi-console PCB instead? Brook has one that's a $10 bump over one converter and it supports a good number of systems; I linked to it in an earlier post. If I didn't already have a PS360+ I'd have grabbed the Brook board by now.

Because neither of those options do exactly what I want without a substantial amount of work involved. I'm not looking to build a USB arcade stick. I'm looking to use one (that I already have) that already works on multiple systems and I've done that with no effort.

When I need another, more rugged stick, I will could easily use a Brook Universal Fighting board. But that's why I noted that I wouldn't likely use their USB to USB converters (above).

I'm just burnt on Japanese RPGs. Just so much low quality stuff out there and even the slightly decent ones are ruined by design decisions that make the game more tedious than necessary.

    Let's Go

Been fun so far. Basically catch pokes to level. Still do trainer battles. Game is made even easier than previous ones. The cons are mostly due to the switch itself. Can only trade online with the service, and each profile needs its own service.

Fair enough. I thought I'd mention it since it's a cheaper (long term) option for older systems and install work/time is minimal.

I played through Leon's campaign in RE6 again and it was more fun than I remembered.

Which parts did you pair with the PS360+?
