Got the plat for Bastion, nos moving to The.Bit.Trip.
That's not the case, actually. We've played baseball like 3 times over the past 2 weeks, as weather has been improving, and we play basketball regularly as well. But that's a nice Cat's in the Cradle reference.
I essentially go to hangin' with the kid as soon as 4 or 5 pm hits, or more depending on the circumstances. And we basically spend all weekend doing things together. I coached his soccer team recently too but I'm not happy with the way the league is managed. Sometimes you put up with **** because the little stuff doesn't really matter. Been playing the $4.99 remaster of Doom 64. They really nailed it. The original N64 version is still one of my all time favorite games. I ended up getting it on Ps4 and Switch since it was so cheap. Haven't got to the lost levels yet but just really loving playing this version especially for the brightness options.
I never really understood the Doom 64 appeal, but I did love Doom and Doom II.
I've had trouble getting into the other games.
I prefer the first Turok game because of the open worlds. Knowing that the next attack could come from ANY direction is a lot scarier than being in a corridor and knowing it'll either be in front of your face or behind you.
Finished all the main routes in Nier Automata, combat and playstyle was fun (as expected of Platinum) but I just didn't enjoy the game as much as the first one. I saw SquareEnix is also remastering and releasing the first game, but it's going to be the Replicant version with brother Nier instead of Papa Nier. Not sure I'll enjoy it really and may pass unless there's a cool LE with a Kaine statue or something.
I and have now started The Outer Worlds, it's good so far but very Bioshock like to me.
Papa Nier > Brother Nier
