Netflix, have you lost your mind?

And what's with the constant 10 episode seasons?
10 ain't enough unless they are hour long episodes, and even then it's pushing it.

I'm sure they have piles of user data indicating that 10 episodes is their ideal length. I'd guess with 10 episodes you can watch the entire thing in one go, and there's drop off of watchers that don't complete a series if they can't finish it in a sitting. Or at least that's my guess.

Zatoichi seems more about telling a story and putting us into the film rather than wowing us with action.
That was a good one. I finished Goes to the Fire Festival a couple days ago. Cane Sword and Meets Yojimbo have been my favorites so far.

I finished Zatoichi near the beginning of this month. I watched The Thing again, it still looks great on BD. Next up will be more anime OVAs I haven't seen yet like Giant Robo.

I finished Knights of Ramune, Giant Robo, and Venus Wars recently. I'll be watching Devil Hunter Yohko and Dominion Tank Police next.

Knights of Ramune is alright if you don't expect much out of it. It's fan service heavy . Giant Robo was good. The soundtrack is great and the animation is good but I was disappointed at how few robot battles there are. The intro showcases a bunch of giant robots and the series only ends up having a handful of robot battles.

Venus Wars was good. The animation looked nice aside from a few rough spots and the superimposed bike sequences. The original DVD is one of the worst quality releases I've seen; I presume the Discotek release is much better quality. I'll be picking up the BD release at some point.

I'm on S3 of Castlevania (Netflix). It's okay. Don't really care much for Dracula's VA. Too quiet.
