    Angel's Egg. Fantastic anime movie, one of Oshii's best. Probably pretty overlooked I think.

    I watched it a few years ago and had no idea what was going on. Had to look up a wiki on the synopsis. Last I checked, the DVD was out of print/expensive.

    It has never been released in the US. Officially anyway. There are fan subs out there. It's not hard to follow imo but it is highly visual so you have to really be watching/paying attention to stuff which is a different experience than a dialog heavy film.
