Given how bad some STDs are, I wouldn't be surprised if they had to burn all of that person's underwear from before it was treated.

Idk, I've seen a few older anime on dvd and bd, I can always tell a clear difference. Ranma is a big difference for example.

Alot of old releases are pretty crap. Even when stuff put out again gets BD and DVD, oftentimes the new DVDs are a big improvement. There are exceptions to that though.

I dunno, I think the quality of a lot of older DVD release's storage is WAY better. In terms of protecting my stuff, single DVD per case wins over the flimsy "stuff 7 BD in a slim pack" method.
Ranma was a full remaster, and yeah, it looks great. BGC did as well. Guess it really depends on how much effort they put into it. Still wish the Viz Ranma BDs had included that new OAV or TV special, whichever it was.
Soe of the multi BD/DVD cases seem nice now and take up much less space. One of the large factors to me is how the centers release. The Doctor Who seasons I just got grab a little too tight, doesn't easily release.
On the subject, I see the occasional 2 espisode LD disc tv series like the VHS were. Can you imagine a whole series at that rate?
