I agree. Having three thousand DVDs filling a room it's bothersome.

You can fit that many on a single large shelf with multi-disc cases .

Ranma was a full remaster, and yeah, it looks great. BGC did as well. Guess it really depends on how much effort they put into it. Still wish the Viz Ranma BDs had included that new OAV or TV special, whichever it was.
I didnt mean the packaging, but the disc itself. A bluray will last a lot longer than a dvd, its a better archival medium.

Depends on the disc and storage conditions. NIST did a study over a decade ago that pegged the majority of recordable DVDs (DVD-R,+R, etc.) were 30+ years under proper storage conditions.

I don't think any studies have been done on BD longevity.

Hey! I'm a looking for a cheap X360, if someone has a working spare. Trying to get a Slim, but an E model would be fine too. May look for a local one later, but I guess that it is worth a shot asking here. Shipping would be to Florida!

I was wondering where you guys put all your sh*t. Either your houses are huge or you have storage units.

Heh, I gave one away to a friend not too long ago. It was in rough shape though and odds are anything cheap enough would not be pristine, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Do need to know how much $$ qualifies as cheap though.

I have the "wii" version with "360" scribbled on it.

I see lots at flea market. Nicer are usually $50 ish complete. Ofc a gamble if they work since you can't test em.

It sucks because I only want one so I can play Lost Odyssey. That game should be either remade or ported.

It doesn't need to be pristine, as long as it works niceru. Just trying to avoid the faulty old boards, if there are any still working out there.

I guess something under $50 would be fine. Plus whatever the shipping is.
