You can always draw the original, anime version and insert it onto the inside sleeve of the U.S. copy. If you're careful with the plastic-y case it'll slip right off and out. Or, print it out. I wouldn't really go to all that trouble, though. I'm kind of appalled in a good way because I never knew this was such a big deal to North American gamers. I'm probably the only person who might not give a care at all. I always do check the back description and I totally ask the customer service representative if it's an RPG and what kind. I got so used to play-testing games out before buying them because Funcoland would let you do so in-store. I also believe the small business rental stores would let you buy games if you asked and you'd have obviously rented it already or a place here let you play-test it out there.
