Are any of the WD games boring?
So far they are all impressive to see in person. Having just picked up Silpheed and Alundra they both have me checking out the package and manual. Unlike most games I just toss in the pile.
Silpheed is a pretty quick play being a shooter. Definitely recommend firing it up.

Vay is probably the dullest that WD published. It has its moments, but there's a lot of generic battling and only the occasional cool tune. It was licensed to open the door to Popful Mail and eventually Iron Storm, Dragon Force, Shining Wisdom and Rayearth, so it was worth it.

    Ha poor VAY!

None of the ones Ive given time to are boring. Im a Saturn guy and all of the WD stuff is different and unique so it will depend on your tastes. Iron Storm is a war sim... some aren't drawn to that. However on the flip side it may be one of the best war sims ever brought over here. Shining Wisdom and Albert Odyssey have flaws some which have to do with both games starting out as 16 bit titles, but even those are made interesting with WD translations.

Dragon Force and Rayearth are IMO the 2 best and very entertaining all around.

Sega Ages is well pretty straightforward... if you liked those 3 arcade games, this an absolute must as the conversions are fantastic and rebuilt for the Saturn. They were released separately in Japan with extras. Wonder if Vic considered re-adding the extras or maybe out of disc space at that point?

I figured it out, which prevented me from roasting Vay and AO again (feels like I do that every time the subject comes up).

Would never have thought all those games were tied together.

Any reason Vay didn't get the Vic treatment?

Hoping that happens again with GW and some amazing games are to come yet.

You said Vay was boring. I assume that means it doesn't have a foiled or embossed cover, etc.
IE Silpheed has that holo cover or Alundra with the foiled/holo cover and embossed booklet. So far the games I have are all impressive to look at.
