For someone who actually likes old RPGs or has the itch to play the entire WD library it might be worth a look but I hesitate to recommend a game like Vay to just anybody absent those qualifiers. It's hard enough to go back to the era of random battles even for great games. I'd feel like I would be trolling a person if I sent them to Vay unless they knew the slog they were getting themselves into.
    I hear that.

I'm glad I have no problem enjoying them. I would hate to see them as something that makes a game nearly unplayable.

Vay and Albert Odyssey really aren't that bad. They are just pretty vanilla. Nothing really stands out about them.

I'd say Cosmic Fantasy 2 is pretty good still, the only drawback is the grinding. Game is relatively short though so that makes sense why the grinding was part of it.

Those early CD battle load times though. It's one of those games that is short, but feels REALLY long when you are playing it.

It's pretty cheap as US Turbo games go.

Wow, so it is... I thought I'd seen it WAY higher at one point. Might have to snag a copy.
