Yeah MKR was more of an action rpg.

I've done it with guides before, it isn't too bad.

I was 16. But really, the combat system was what made it so bearable paired with how expressive all the characters were. At the time I didn't have a PlayStation, so I was desperate for RPGs. Hell I played through Mystaria twice...

Man, if WD brought over the Saturn version of Grandia I can only imagine how awesome it would have been. The story is pretty rough for the US release, and so is the game itself on the PS1, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. Plus, this may be blasphemy, but I consider Grandia to have one of the best soundtracks that Iwadare ever did, possibly even surpassing Lunar:TSS. Obviously this is just my opinion, but I feel like if the US was given a Saturn release of Grandia with some real love put into it, it would probably be one of the most sought after titles for the system.

I can only imagine how expensive the game would be now if that were the case.

Even with the PS1 release still coming out, I bet 300-400 range. Thats assuming a late 98 release with 25-30k copies (I think MKR only had 15k)

I was thinking more around $150-200 but still, it would be absurd one way or the other.

I know there was a lot of crazy politics going on for WD, GameArts, and Sega at that point so I'm not surprised, but one can dream I suppose.

Luckily it's not too much of a hassle to play burns on a saturn.
