    I didn't particularly care for it when Tim Schaefer did it, or the Mighty No.9 did it, but I didn't back any of those projects. Though I guess I would prefer that than a cancelled project. I can't see the details specific to this one because they are backer only, so I can't give a completely accurate assessment.

    The core problem is that many game kickstarters have extraordinarily unrealistic initial funding goals. They're almost to a title too low, many of them counting on volunteerism and goodwill to get done, and once they're into it and the real world hits, it often goes awry as formerly gung-ho future equity or volunteer employees leave because they need to support themselves if their circumstance changes.

    Do you know what the KS policy is (if there is one, I couldn't find any info on that) for posting backer only updates publicly (i.e. this forum))?
