I've briefly played the original Suikoden and have played through at least half of Persona 2, but otherwise I'm about where you are.

I would probably play a Fire Emblem game if I found one for the right price, but most are pretty collectible. I'll probably pick up the 3DS game if I don't wait on it for too long.

You mean you don't want to drop $150++ on the Tellius games? For shame.

I am only missing the Wii release (which I should get sooner rather than later). I have played a few of them, but I can't seem to finish them. I always compare them to Shining Force games, or other SRPG games, and need to learn to experience them as their own game.

Yeah the reprint has helped a little, but I'd get it before it goes back up if you want it.

Hard to blame you with the current prices. I netted Radiant Dawn for free (in that big DS/Wii bundle I posted about here awhile back) and paid $60 for Path of Radiance before it exploded. Both are relatively expensive series.

Persona is a highly overrated series. First couple games are basically hot garbage.

I actually have never played a Fire Emblem game. Combine that with never playing Suikoden, and only briefly playing Persona 2... they seem to be the big three series I am currently not well versed in. The more I see Fire Emblem, the more I want to play them... they are just on the backburner along with a ton of other games.

Lol I know...it pulled me back in and was a good excuse to grab Path of Radiance again.

That really was a great lot. I still have The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Luminous Arc, NSMB Wii, Castlevania Order of Ecclesia and FE: Radiant Dawn from it. Didn't make a ton on it, but I did keep all the good stuff, so there is that, lol.

$24.99 is the lowest it dipped there, but that game hasn't been in a Gamestop in 6+ years.

I actually paid €13,49 (shipping from UK included) for my brand new copy of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance back in 2006. :-)

UK copy. IMPURE. Ergo, worthless. Yukyukyuk.

I do try to avoid European copies at all cost though. Only exceptions are for exclusives, which pains me. I will say that I always did dig the Euro Dreamcast cases. They are so ridiculous, unique and weird. Just like the Dreamcast, so it fits.

You bring up a very good point though, the best time to buy these games is when they are being cleared out. Sears couldn't even freaking get rid of copies of Radiant Dawn back in the day.
