As it seems with most games that get some viral buzz, price jumps on Ebay. Normally around $50-55 CIB.

Ooph, imagine the price jumps on Saga to prepare for the possibility of it's remake.

Jeepers, I'd almost consider selling my copies of 1/2. I wasn't a huge fan, I just thought they were interesting.

Probably best time to dump #1 for sure. Zwei has already been in the $100 range for some time now.

As for the games themselves they are probably a bit of an acquired taste.

The art style to some could seem a bit muddy and bland. Personally I like it. The first game has the incredible opening level and music. And the first mid boss and boss were well done. I remember playing the demo over and over again back in 96.

PD2 pretty much improves on everything with big large bosses and different abilities. Some consider this the best of the series.

Saga is an incredible adventure game that encompasses the PD theme very well and pushes the Saturn to the limits graphically.

Ive actually been motivated to play through the series again since the remake announcement.

Dang, quite a jump indeed. I wonder if I still have extra copies laying around.

Yeah looks like its jumped even more.

A few months back I posted about getting a mint copy for 34.95 (+30% off) at my local game story that is notorious for under pricing random games.

Just saw the metal Jesus video on this game. Seems like a scam from the publisher. Anyone buy one when it was released?

Never heard of it, and with "only 84 exist", definitely screams like it was on purpose.

Edit: I would also not be surprised if it was actually Limited Run Games doing the whole spiel in disguise.
