What's the point of keeping them then? I can understand if you want to keep one extra, but more than that? I would sell it off.

If you play enough pokemon you find uses for them. I have a number used mainly for storage.

Think I have like 8 Pokémon games. All CIB.
Pokémon LeafGreen Version (GBA), White (DS), White Version 2 (DS), Black (DS), SoulSilver with Pokéwalker (DS), Y (3DS), Alpha Sapphire Limited Steelbook Edition (3DS) and Omega Ruby (Starter Box with Pokéball) (3DS)

    Also have Pokémon Conquest (DS).

Not looking to flip any of those though. I do have a spare sealed copy of SoulSilver with Pokéwalker, which apparently already costs a pretty penny.

I think I've got all the games up through GBA, none of the DS ones though.

I don't have any dupes left anymore though, normally I would sell them as soon as I came across them after cleaning them and replacing batteries if they needed it. For a long time I was able to find them for a couple bucks each and then get them back and working into the market for about $20 or more, but over time as more people started collecting they became harder to find. I've actually still got a couple extra batteries left even!

I picked up a Gold last month and it needs a battery. It's really only recently I've picked up extras I may trade off. The new ones I have I figured I'd wait till the prices went up enough on them or found something worth trading for. (I payed $8-12 each on those)

Battery replacements are super easy, I used to do them locally for folks until some dude basally copied my entire CL ad word for word and undercut my price by an absurd amount. After that I finished my existing jobs and just let it go.... only to find out the dude stopped posting and doing replacements. I was already charging a pretty low rate so I'm sure he realized he was wasting his time at what he was charging.

It does look simple, I just need to grab some of the batteries with the tabs.
