Lol, not really. I was charging $15 per replacement and I would meet you someplace, with an extra soldering iron I had and the batteries, do the swap (sometimes in my car powering the iron with a simple power invertor) , clean the pins and even back up your team in the meantime if they really wanted it. I figured it was a good deal to help people keep their games alive and I made a bit of extra cash in the process.
The other guy was offering to do it for like $5 and my mindset was, "if your time is worth that little to you go for it". Obviously he realized it wasn't a good opportunity for him.
