Yeah this is nuts. I don't care about Nier but I'm hyped for the rest as well. It's like I'm 17 again.

That's awesome man, I'm more or less in the same boat however I've still yet to reach the point where I'm super super pumped for new games. Though I will most definitely be getting a PS4, plenty of games I want including all the recently announced stuff but I still haven't been enthralled like I would generally hoped I'd be @_@, perhaps closer to release I'll be ecstatic! I want to be 17 again like Gypsy XD.
Bro. It's Shenmue III.

I think I just realized what my problem is, all the money I'm gonna have to make in order to get all of this and all the time I'm gonna have to set aside in order to enjoy it like it's meant to be enjoyed XDXDXDXD Watching all the trailers over and over again yeahp that's definitely what's getting to me.
Watched the new Xenoblade trailer, I want to play it... it has mechs ♥ yet God knows when I'll have a Wii U lol
Eh. Yet to see anything that thrilled me as muc has you guys. I'd eventually like to play quite a few of the announced games though. I'm most looking forwards to Civ Rev 2. I'm pretty much the odd one it seems.![]()

On the subject of Nier 2, I'm wondering if that character in the trailer is Yonah, post ending D where;
Spoiler:
In that sense, it could be Kaine in the trailer, though it doesn't look quite like her.
The images bring back strong memories of the Forest of Myth.
Going to be legit pissed if any references to Nier (character) are only angsty teen brother Nier from the Japanese release rather than father Nier of the English release, though if the events of ending E are what this game is about, it may not matter for the reasons that I mention above, since a return character would be the same regardless.
Wat?! Maybe it's just because I'm a Dad and I can associate with it better having a father figure in the game, but the brother protagonist always seems a bit creepier to me in the context of the rest of the game.
I agree, I don't think the protagonist from the original game will be the focus either way. They can always choose whichever ending they want and go from there though.
