I'm so damn bummed that THIS is the result of the survey Game Arts sent out. I wanted something Lunar related.

I would love the Lunar games on PSN (already own the PS1 games but I'd love to play them on my Vita, especially Eternal Blue) or a high quality sequel, but it's understandable that Grandia is a more attractive property given the Studio Alex fallout mess.

EDIT: In another thread, somebody mentioned that the developers said to ignore the early screenshots that went up and wait for more official screenshots. Gives me hope that they're going to clean up the UI a bit.

I actually quite like Grandia and Grandia II, but I haven't played the latter ones. If they did a good job on the port, I can afford to pay $15 to play it more conveniently, especially if that could mean Lunars. I doubt Vic will say anything about it, but I am hoping it is a real possibility. Fantastic games that more people need to experience.

The later Grandia games have even better combat, but other elements didn't fare quite so well. I'd like to replay Grandia 3 at some point, but most people will agree it has a noticeably weaker story & cast than 1 or 2.

Someone from GungHo claimed Lunar SCD is on their agenda, if popularity warrants it. Wouldn't that be a miracle and a half.

I think he meant that PC ports of Lunar 1 & 2 are a possibility regardless of any issues with older versions there may be, not that they're planning on bringing over the SCD versions. I don't recall them listing the SCD & PS1 versions out separately in their survey.

iirc the later Grandia games added some sort of team attack feature, and an auto-battle system (called 'strategy'). I didn't play very far into Grandia 3 or Xtreme so maybe it was more then that?
